Office coffee service

Illustration for: Office coffee service

An office coffee service is whoever keeps the drink on site: the machine, the beans, and the person you ring when it stops. Workplaces search it after a café run, a hire quote, or a pod machine that nobody wants to restock.

The service is the arrangement, not a trolley and a weekly invoice for sandwiches.

What a service usually includes

A machine on the bench. Coffee that matches how the floor drinks. Someone responsible when it clogs. Some suppliers rent the hardware and sell the beans as a second line. Some sell you the machine and leave the repair with a warranty card.

Ask what sits on the invoice in a quiet month. Ask who comes when it stops. Who services the machine is that question in full.

What Arico's service is

A Saeco Royal Plus, automatic bean-to-cup: whole beans, a grind per cup, a button. Office coffee delivery each month, roasted locally, by the kilogram. Servicing and tech support at $0 while that order continues. You pay for the coffee, from as little as 40 cents a cup.

We put the machine in. We do not supply milk or cups, rebuild the kitchen, or train a barista. How the free machine works is the short version of the trade. Stop ordering and the arrangement stops.

Hire is a different service

Office coffee machine hire is a rental plus whatever you drink. The hardware line is there whether anyone pressed the button. Hire versus a free machine is the paper comparison. Coffee machine rental is the search a lot of those quotes use.

Arico is not a rental line and it is not rent-to-own. You do not own the machine. You also do not own the repair.

Who it is for

Offices, warehouse tea rooms, workshops, staff rooms, waiting rooms, and small businesses that want a button drink. A traditional espresso bar with someone employed to run it is a different service, from a different supplier. Say which one you are asking about.

Sydney, from Forestville. The postcode on the call decides whether we can service the site. We do not publish a same-day promise.

How to size it

Count the people who are actually in, times cups a day, times about 7 grams as a planning dose, times working days. An office of twenty lands around 6 or 7 kilograms a month as a working example. Brian does the real number on the call.

If the service you have now is a jar of instant and a run downstairs, the missing piece is the machine and a monthly order, not another supplier brochure.
